SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed regarding the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This website can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area each day. The support stage created for intervention encounters a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all prospects and maximize entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
